The past few years have seen the advent of numerous National and International restaurant brands and cuisines and an equal number of local ventures serving regional and sub-regional cuisines.
The springing up of cafes, lounge-bars, boutique bakeries, fast food chains, etc. in various parts of the city and an increased interest amongst the citizens to eat-out have brought in a food revolution which is set to become bigger and better in the coming years.
To acknowledge this growth, Guwahati Food Awards were initiated to recognize superior services and achievements in the city's F&B segment.
